Listen now: Performing the Revolution
A special guest episode
Performing the Revolution
Hey everyone! So I got an email I got a few weeks ago. Remoy Philip , a podcast producer and artist, found the Art of Resistance, and enjoyed it. He also couldn’t believe how closely we were aligned.
Because he’s been releasing a show called Performing the Revolution. And after I listened and loved it, I agreed.
So I’m including the first episode here because I think you’ll like it too.
The show is a four-episode limited series telling the story of street theater as a powerful tool of resistance. Over the course of the show, we travel to India, Palestine, California, and all converge back in NY.
This first episode tells the story of Janam, the street theater troupe in India in the 70s who performed for the working class and sparked massive union movements and results.
So – take a listen, then follow this show and get the full story wherever you get your podcasts.
Thanks to Remoy Philip and Meropi Peponides for reaching out, and for creating this wonderful show!
